CHANNEL DRAINS


Channel Drains collect water from paved surfaces, usually driveways and sidewalks. When water pools along the surface, a channel drain can be used to carry the water away.

Sometimes driveways are sloped or graded towards the garage. The channel drain collects the water before it can enter the garage and pipes it to a sump pump which lifts the water up and out to a drain tile leading to the street.
